Moreover, these Bitumen primers can easily be diluted with water for various other applications. Bitumen kote emulsions are stable clay emulsions produced from a wide range of basic bitumen, both steam-refined and air blown. They have no common characteristic of smoothly and creamy consistency. They can be diluted easily with water to any consistency required for applications.

Swastik Oil Base Primer that is manufactured using superior quality basic bitumen both steam refined and air blown. It is a Ready to use Single Component Quick Drying Low Viscosity Primer in Liquid Form. It is prepared using Special Grade Bitumen under Controlled Condition. 

Uses: Coating on Concrete walls, Metals, Asbestos Sheets, Masonry, Wooden and Stone Surfaces for Sealing Substrate Pores and Promote Adhesion of Bitumen Based Waterproofing Systems & Application of Membranes

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

·        The surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove loose dust, foreign particles, rust, laitance, oil and other contaminants.

·        Apply Swastik Oil Base Primer using Brush / Spray Gun at 1 to 4 m2 /Ltr per coat depending upon the Porosity of the Surface uniformly wetting and covering entire surface.

·        Strictly Don’t Apply Swastik Oil Base Primer on wet surfaces on during rain, Allow the Swastik Oil Base Primer to dry completely, before proceeding for installation of Bituminous Waterproofing.

·        Use Solvents for cleaning tools & equipment immediately after application.
