Bitumen penetration grade 10/20 means the penetration value is in the range 10 to 20 at standard test, Bitumen 10/20 is hard penetration grade bitumen using as paving grade bitumen suitable for road construction and repair also for the production of asphalt pavements. This grade of bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses.

SWASTIK ASPHALT-30 Bitumen is primarily used to construct extra heavy duty Bitumen pavements that need to endure substantial traffic loads. It can be used in lieu of 60/70 Penetration grade.

SWASTIK ASPHALT-10 Bitumen is widely used in spraying applications such as surface-dressing and paving in very cold climate in lieu of old 80/100 Penetration grade. It is also used to manufacture Bitumen Emulsion and Modified Bitumen products.

Estimation guide for joint SealingCompounds required per 100 meters running in kg of 25mm depth is as under:12mm – 40 kg | 18mm – 60 kg | 25mm – 80 kg |Consider 5% wastage during application.Primer coverage approx 0.91 ltrs per 100 running meters for 25mm depth of joints.
